Football Club Nordsjælland , commonly known as FC Nordsjælland , Nordsjælland ( Danish pronunciation: [ˈnoɐ̯ɕeˌlænˀ] ) or FCN , is a professional football club from the Danish town of Farum . Founded as Farum Boldklub from the merger of the town's two football clubs Farum IK and Stavnsholt BK in 1991, the club changed its name to FC Nordsjælland in 2003. [ 6 ] In international competitions, the club can be transliterated as Nordsjaelland .
