FK Vardar ( Macedonian : ФК Вардар ) is a professional football club based in Skopje , Republic of North Macedonia, which competes in the Macedonian First League . It is the most successful football club in football in North Macedonia , that has won twelve Championship titles, six Macedonian Cups , two Macedonian Super Cups and one Yugoslav Cup . In 2017, it became the first Macedonian club to qualify for the group stage of a European competition. [ 1 ]
