Knattspyrnufélagið Fram ( Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈkʰnahtˌspɪ(r)tnʏˌfjɛːˌlaijɪð ˈfram] , lit. ' Fram Football Club ' [ a ] ) is a professional Icelandic multi-sport club , best known for its football and handball teams. It was founded on 1 May 1908 in Reykjavík . It was based at Safamýri, in the Háaleiti og Bústaðir district near Reykjavík city centre until 2006 when Fram started slowly moving operations to Úlfarsárdalur in the newly established Grafarholt district. Fram has been based fully in Úlfarsárdalur since mid 2022. [ 1 ]
