Nou Mestalla is Valencia CF's long-stalled new stadium in northern Valencia, with construction resuming after more than a decade frozen since the 2009 financial crisis. The completed ground is planned to hold around 70,000 spectators, which would make it one of La Liga's largest venues and the replacement for the historic Mestalla, open since 1923.
