Privately funded new build proposed by SSC Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis on the 38-hectare former Q8 (Kuwait Petroleum) refinery site at San Giovanni a Teduccio in east Naples. Reported at 60,000-70,000 seats and over EUR 1bn; the site's remediation is due to finish between late 2027 and early 2028. Submitted alongside the municipal Stadio Maradona renovation as Naples' second Euro 2032 dossier. Site coordinates are the former refinery footprint (OSM way 29496715); the exact stadium position within it is not yet public.
